Our pub is a work of art!
After a quarter-century hiatus, we were determined to maintain the cool street art vibe of our venue, guaranteeing that the unmistakable dynamic of street art and graffiti, which is inseparable from our fantastic building, remained alive and kicking. Here are all of the different artworks you can take a look on a visit to The Lord Napier Star.

What you see here is a mini street art history lesson by the master himself, Banksy. This concrete slab represents a model of a graffiti wall and features his distinctive stencil style and nods to his influences, covering his evolving style from around 2002-2003.
You’ll probably recognize the parachuting rat but seeing the Keith Haring and Basquiat references lays bare some of his inspirations and adds context. Basquiat’s famous graffiti quote, ‘Life is confusing at this point’. And Haring’s inspired dog is instantly recognizable.
